UNKNOWN NAME CEMETERY
Pappas Cemetery Rd, Bamberg County, SC
Pappa Cemetery Road Cemetery

Turn off of Farrell Rd onto Old Buckhead Rd (which is S-5-44), then take the left fork in the road. This is a well maintained dirt road.

This is close to the Colleton Co line, but is definitely in Bamberg County. I looked at all the maps of Colleton and Bamberg cemeteries to see if this one had another name, but I could not find it. I would think that the locals would call it by a family name, but the road has been named "Pappa Cemetery Rd".

None of the names in this cemetery are in the book Cemeteries of Upper Colleton County, but many family names and children are buried in Buckhead Advent Christian Church Cemetery (formed around 1900) and Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery (formed in the 1800's, but church was abandoned around 1900 due to a shooting; see the book) which are in Colleton Co, but very near to this cemetery.
