SMITH FAMILY CEMETERY
Near Ehrhardt, South Carolina

Located on Highway 521 (Ehrhardt Road), in Bamberg County.  Going south on Highway 362, turn right (west) toward Ehrhardt.  The cemetery is on the left in a grove of live oak trees, about 75 feet off the road.  There is a farm adjacent to the east, so this probably is part of the farm property.

This was a quick stop on a whirlwind trip to the area from Atlanta in October 2002, so I did not have time to do a formal survey or clean off the stones to read the difficult ones.  Since this cemetery does not appear on any lists I’ve seen, I hope it helps someone researching this family.    I photographed some of the graves and recorded notes on a tape recorder.
