FARMER

I need to correspond with anyone researching the FARMER family in Colleton County, South Carolina. My line seems to hit a brick wall at 1770 when one Aquilla FARMER was born there in South Carolina. I'm hoping to find anyone who is decended through the South Carolina arm of the FARMER family. I think there was just one family there before 1770 and any South Carolina research on the family should lead back to where I want to go.

FELDER

I am researching my Felder ancestors. My great-grandfather David B. Felder was in the Civil War and his place of residence was Walterboro, SC. He was captured and sent to Elmire, NY. After he returned home he was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Walterboro. His wife was Caroline "Carrie" Frances also of Walteboro, SC. I have been unable to find David and his wife grave(sure could use all the help you could provide).
My grandfather was Joseph Artemus "Joe A." Felder. Joe and his 5 half brothers and sisters moved to Creston/Lone Star, SC when Joe was under 20 and the youngest child was around 3. The 5 other children were name Aultman after Joe mother remarried after David B. Felder died. If there are any Aultman and Frances that think they can help close some of the gaps I have in my data base I sure would appreciate their help. If you'd like addtional information, visit http://www.netside.com/~genealogy/orangeburgh.htm

FENDER (Phendner)

I am searching for the immigrant parents of Mathew FENDER (PHENDNER) who came to Charleston, SC Oct. 1751 on the ship Ann. Would like the name of his wife who had a son John age 7 and Mathew age 10. They came with other German immigrants. I am a descendant of Mathew FENDER, his son David FENDER (b. Oct 21, 1766 Colleton District d. Nov. 14, 1886) and David's son Martin FENDER (b. Sept. 6, 1803 Edgefield, SC). Will share any information I have on the FENDERs. Also searching for information on the HIERS families.

FLETCHER

Interested in information on Henry FLETCHER who was in Colleton Co after the revolution. He may have been born in Marion District before the revolution. His wife was (by tradition) Martha LATTIMORE, daughter of Thomas LATTIMORE.
Was Henry a son of William FLETCHER, b 1729 Accomac Co, VA? One of William's daughters, Elizabeth ( b 1750s Marion District), married Joseph MORRISON. She died in Colleton before 1800. Any information on the Henry FLETCHER would be appreciated. Henry may have died in Colleton or migrated to Bulloch Co, GA.
