Colleton County Courthouse
Hampton Street, Walterboro, South Carolina
The original part of this building is the portion shown
from the front, with it's four plain Doric Columns, curved staircases,
and arched basement entrances. It was built in 1822 by William N.
Thompson, and is said to have been a design of Robert
Mills.
It was altered and enlarged in 1939. Source: "Backward
