Church Street, Walterboro


Built in 1820.  One of the few remaining "High Houses," constructed with a high basement that created a breeze below the main floor.  In the heart of the original Hickory Valley settlement.  In the Lucas family from mid 1800's to the 1990's. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
