Edward Arthur Risher - 1922

Edward Arthur Risher, son of the late Benjamin L. and Mrs. E.S. Risher, died suddenly at his home in the Providence section on Nov. 15 and was laid to rest the following day in the family buring ground at Old Providence Church.  His pastor, Rev. H.W. Whittaker, of Cottageville conducting the funeral services.  Five brothers and one nephew acted as pall-bearers.

 

Mr Risher was in his sixtieth year and was a life-long resident of the Providence section and a member of the Methodist church.  At the time of his death he was survived by his mother, Mrs. E.S. Risher, three sisters, Mrs. W.B. Easterlin of Providence, Mrs B.M.S. Tippey of Jacksonville, Fla and Mrs. ?? Sandifer of Hardeeville, and the following brothers, all of Providence: Ben, T.R., C.M., J.R. and L.M. Risher.
