Colleton County Townships of 1868

  • Koger - bounded west by Edisto River, east by Poke Swamp, north by Orangeburg Co - included Horse Pen Bridge (today - part of Dorchester Co)
  • George - bounded west by Poke Swamp, east by Indian Field Creek, South by Edisto River - included Canady's and Byrd (today - part of Dorchester Co)
  • Givhans - bounded west by Indian Field Creek, east by Four Hole Swamp (today - Dorchester Co)
  • Carn - bounded east by Four Hole Swamp, west by road to Columbia, north by Orangeburg Co - included Pendarvis, Whetsell, Moorer and Miller
  • Collins - land between the Edisto and the Ashley Rivers (today - Charleston Co), bounded south by CawCaw Swamp - included road to Rantowles Bridge, road to Sullivan's Ferry and St. Paul's Church
  • Fraser - land between the Edisto and the Ashepoo Rivers, bounded north by Price's Bridge, Horse Shoe Creek, Parker's Ferry Road and road to Ashepoo Ferry - included Jacksonboro, White House, Bear Island, Mosquito Creek, Fenwick and Hutchinson Islands and Bennett's Point
  • Glover - bounded north by Fuller's Cross Roads to Sullivan's Ferry - included Gloverville and I'On's (Irons) Cross Roads, south by Parker's Ferry Road, west by Horse Shoe Bridge and Price's Bridge - later known as Sheridan and Glover township
  • Verdier - no description
