Pattie W. Heaton and Lillian D. Kizer, the co-chairmen of The Cemetery Committee of Dorchester County, South Carolina, have generously given permission to the US GenWeb Tombstone Project, South Carolina, to include information from Volumes I and II of  CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS OF 
DORCHESTER COUNTY SOUTH CAROLINA  on the SC GenWeb toward the purposes of sharing the information contained in these volumes with the descendants of Dorchester County who have scattered throughout the US and abroad, and to encourage restoration of unkept cemeteries.
