recently
contributed to a Naperville television documentary
about the Stenger
family and the Stenger Brewery, but she has been
involved in local
history and genealogy for decades. When I
started this web site
in
1999, Dyonne was one of the first people who
contributed an abundance
of old
photographs and information from her grandmother's
collection (Emma
Scherer Mertz, daughter of Christian Scherer and
Mary Stenger)
about many of the families of Naperville,
Illinois. See NAPERVILLE
ILLINOIS DEATHS. Dyonne
was born and raised in
Naperville, Illinois, and for many years lived in
Steger,
Illinois. Dyonne is buried at Skyline
Memorial Park,
Monee, IL.
We will miss Dyonne, and I'll especially think of her during the holidays when I won't get her annual Christmas card. Our condolences go to Dyonne's family. Beverly "Bev" Ann Stenger 1934-2003 Bev contributed so much to the research of the Stenger family and the Stenger Brewery of Naperville, lllinois. She was one of the first people I "met" when I first started working on my Naperville families. She is appreciated and missed.
