"TENNESEE RIVER BRIDGE AND COURTHHOUSE.  Knoxville owns over 20 iron and steel bridges, aggregating nearly 5,000 feet in length, besides five river bridges- two for railroads and three for other traffic.  Conspicuous among the later is the structure shown in this picture;  it is 1,600 feet long, and cost $225,000.  The Knox County Court House is an imposing building, occupying an elevated site and costing $200,000."
