According to the owner, Lisa Waite, the historic home at 567 Tom Smith Road in Lilburn, Georgia, was formerly owned by the late George and Gertrude Stephens. Ms. Stephens was Tom Smith's granddaughter.

Ms. Waite adds, "I know that my deed records to my property began in 1909 according to the land records in Gwinnett. I have been told by one of the Stephens' son that my living room actually dates into the late 1800's."
