Duncan Creek Congregational Church
Highway 124 near East Quarry Road (south of Spout Springs Rd) The
church was organized in 1855, meeting in a log building. A white
frame building (depicted in the book "Vanishing Gwinnett", was built in
1889. According to the book, the current church building was
built
in 1960.
This is a very large cemetery adjacent to the church, at the corner of
Hwy 124 and East Quarry Road. Graves date to the early 1880s.
There is another small cemetery section (below) between Duncan Creek
church and Antioch Baptist Church which, according to the Gwinnett
Historical Society, belongs to Antioch.
