Be sure not to add any other message or any signature, or the
RootsWeb computer will kick it out. You should receive a welcome
letter from the list, explaining the "rules" and how to post a
message. Subsequent messages should be sent to GAGWINNE-L@rootsweb.com
(same address but without the "request"). When you post messages,
be sure to be very specific in your subject line and your
County List on RootsWeb
subscribe, send your request to : GAGWINNE-Lemail@example.com
It doesn't matter what
you put in the Subject Line, but in the BODY of your message, you
should put only one word:
If you prefer the Digest form, substitude "D" for Digest in place of
"L" for List.
African American Genealogy -
Topic: A mailing list for
anyone researching their African American ancestry in Georgia.
- Subscribing. Clicking on one of the shortcut links below
should work, but if your browser doesn't understand them, try these
manual instructions: to join GA-AfricaAmer-L, send mail to GA-AfricaAmer-Lfirstname.lastname@example.org
with the single word subscribe in the message subject and body.
- Archives. You can search the archives for a specific
message or browse them, going from one message to another. Some list
archives are not available; if there is a link here to an archive but
the link doesn't work, it probably just means that no messages have
been posted to that list yet.
