WELCOME TO THE GWINNETT COUNTY GaGenWeb Project Member of the USGenWeb Project This is the TEXT ONLY version of this page, for slower web browsers and connections. To visit the full graphics version of this page, Click HERE |
The USGenWeb Project for Georgia - the GAGenWeb - is going through some major reorganization and remodeling, so please be patient during the construction process. I know some links won't be working, because I'm still creating pages. I'd like to take this time to honor all of those people who have made free acess to genealogical information possible. Without the tireless efforts of those folks who transcribe documents and survey cemeteries, and those early web site coordinators and servers who pioneered the USGenWeb Project and RootsWeb, we would all be sitting around, hoping to break through those brick walls! My contribution to the Gwinnett County GAGenWeb site is in maintaining the project site, and I will add new information as time permits.. If you have any documents, such as wills, deeds, Bible records, old letters, group photos, church histories, photographs of towns, churches, businesses or cemeteries (landscape view), please consider submitting them to the Gwinnett GAGenWeb Project to share with other "seekers." (Please let me know in advance if you are sending a file attachment). Please visit THIS SITE before submitting. Thanks!
I
wish I could be of help with personal
research questions, but coordinating web sites and my full time real
estate career keep me very busy (and I probably wouldn't know the
answer, anyway)! I'm often wading through 200
e-mails at the end of the work day, sometimes at midnight. I do promise to keep the site
up to date and the door open to your suggestions and contributions.
It is
my hope that this will give you a good start in your search. About the USGenWeb Project The USGenWeb Project consists of a group of volunteers working together to provide Internet websites for genealogical research in every county and every state of the United States. The Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free access for everyone. Organization is by county and state, and this website provides you with links to all the state websites which, in turn, provide gateways to the counties. The USGenWeb Project also sponsors important Special Projects at the national level and this website provides an entry point to all of those pages, as well. |
