Randolph Street
Randolph Street, Chicago Illinois

The large block building on the right appears to be the sixth City Hall.  A gas explosion in 1905 caused the entire building to be demolished in 1908, making room for the seventh City Hall - Cook County Courthouse on the same site.  More information and views of this building and earlier and later City Halls.  Across the street on the left, the three  skyscrapers are the Ashland Building, the Schiller Building, and  the Masonic Temple at the intersection of State Street and Randolph.
