All of these high resolution digital images will provide a crisp, clear copy in the original postcard size, and most will work well for an enlargement. However, some original postcards are of higher quality than others, and enlargements will vary in quality. In most cases, I recommend an enlargement of no greater than 4-5 times the size of the original. If you need a high resolution scan of one of my Chicago postcards, please read this info about custom scans. Most of my Chicago cards are featured at Old Chicago , but if you are looking for a particular card or architect, please ask. I have some cards that have not been scanned, and have several 19th Century souvenir albums with lithographs of extinct Chicago buildings. Often a card that is in poor condition can be cleaned and color corrected to become a stunning print. I will be happy to inspect the original and give you my honest opinion. Please see Terms of Use. I add new images somewhat randomly, although you may see some images grouped by topic. In 2012 I added some 19th Century Chicago lithographic images.

YOUR ORDER of up to three digital images will be e-mailed one at a time (they are large files). Larger orders will be burned to a CD and mailed at no cost to you.
