I no longer own the
original card, but retained a 300 dpi scan and have digitally restored
and colored the image. It turned out great! See Original. The original card was
erroneously captioned "Courthouse", and someone had struck it out and
wrote "Post Office".

Jonesborough, Tennessee Panoramic View, c1910 Main
Street and Cherokee Street
This image is greatly enhanced from the
original postcard, which is a panoramic fold card. You may view a
scan of the original card HERE. I no longer own the original
card, but retained a 300 dpi image. Since the original card was
in poor condition and poorly colored, I thought it would be worthwhile
to improve it. The
building in the front right foreground was cut off, and I referred to
other old Jonesborough photographs to include the arch. Also, there were black smudges on the
original image (not the postcard - the original photograph), and I
removed them. In the original postcard, none of the figures were
colored, and I added some color to primary figures. The final image
size is the same as the original scanned image.
It's difficult to see in this small image, but it appears to include
all of the men in town at the time of the original
photograph.
