G E Cox, of Elliott, who was employed at the Walterboro Lumber Company, died at the Clara EsDorn Infirmary last Wednesday, following a short illness of pneumonia. Mr Cox was a middle age man and was ill only a short while before his death. He had been at the Walterboro Lumber Co. only a short while, but was well liked by all who came into contact with him. He is survived by a wife and several children. They were at their home at Elliott, and the body was sent there for interment.
