Do you recognize these people?
I
am trying to positively identify the time and place of this
photograph. Our mother, Dorothy M. Davis (maiden name) is the
fourth woman from the left, on the back row. She was a student at East
Tennessee State when the United States joined the war effort. She left
school for a couple of years and worked as a secretary at Tennessee
Eastman in Kingsport, TN. It is possible that other young women in
the picture were college classmates. I'll have to look
through yearbooks.
