Grove Methodist Cemetery
Glenn Club Drive, Stone Mountain, Georgia Photos taken October 2006 This
cemetery is on Glenn Club Drive, which
circles behind the Best Western Hotel off Park Place. This is
just north of Hwy 78 in Gwinnett County. The oldest graves
appear to be from 1879-1880s, with the most recent in the 1950s.
It is a small cemetery with several family plots, including Bracewell,
Cheney, Furgerson, Hay, Henderson,
Johnson, Minor, Pickens,
Wade.
The underbrush is fairly heavy, but most stones are standing. Below is a partial transcription. In Memory of Eleanor L. Bracewell Wife of James R.
