He was born May 8, 1866 in Walterboro, SC, son of Paul Hamilton Fripp and Harriett Croskeys Fripp. He is the husband of Annie Chaplin Neyle.
He is survived by two sons, W.E. Fripp and H.M. Fripp; three daughters, Mrs. B.H. Padgett, Mrs. E.M. Jones and Mrs. F.B. Savage; one brother Charles H. Fripp.
